About Store Ops by Amazon
Store Ops by Amazon is a business application from Amazon Mobile LLC, built for the staff who keep retail and fulfilment operations running each day. It ships under the package identifier com.amazon.ihm.candycane and is meant to sit alongside the other work tools a company-issued handset already carries.
The latest release on record The most recent release documented for this app carries the date 2023-11-16 and is identified by a version string that ends in a trailing build token. Because of that suffix, it is worth comparing the complete identifier with what appears in your device's app information, since matching only the leading portion can leave you unsure which build is actually installed on a shared or provisioned phone.
On-device compatibility The build requires Android 7.0+. Devices running a more recent platform release should also accept it normally, which gives administrators a simple pre-flight check when preparing handsets for a team. Confirming the operating system version before a rollout avoids the inconvenience of an app that will not install on a device that was missed during provisioning.
Light footprint on storage At 11.8 MB the package is a small addition to a working device, leaving generous room for the scanning, scheduling and messaging applications operations personnel typically run in parallel. A compact install also shortens the time needed to push the app across many handsets at once, which matters when a shift is starting and devices are being handed out.
Package identity and listing metadata The package name com.amazon.ihm.candycane is the stable technical signature of the app and remains unchanged across releases even as the version string advances. This listing files the application under the business category, and both its content rating and its file type are recorded as unknown, so those details should be verified through your organisation's own review process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which release does this listing show as the latest?
The listing records its latest release with the date 2023-11-16 and identifies it using a version string that includes a trailing build token. Always compare the full identifier with the build shown in your device's app information rather than matching only the leading numbers, which can otherwise look identical across several builds.
Which devices can install the app?
The build requires Android 7.0+. Handsets running a more recent platform release should install and open it without difficulty, while devices older than that floor may refuse the installation. Check the operating system version on a handset before provisioning it so a device below the requirement is not missed during rollout.
How much storage space does it need?
The file size is 11.8 MB, a light footprint that should fit comfortably on any modern work phone. Make sure at least that much space remains free after allowing for any temporary files your device creates while installing, and you should not run into storage warnings alongside your other operational apps.
What is the package name of the application?
The package identifier is com.amazon.ihm.candycane. This string is the permanent technical name the operating system uses to recognise the app, and it stays the same across releases even though the version identifier changes with each new build. It is the reliable detail to match when coordinating with a device administrator.
Who publishes it and what metadata is missing from the listing?
The developer is Amazon Mobile LLC and the app is filed under the business category, indicating a workplace rather than personal use case. For this listing the content rating is recorded as unknown and the file type is likewise unknown, so both details should be confirmed during your own approval process.
