About LW Scientific
LW Scientific is a photography app published by LW Scientific, Inc. for Android devices. It packages the developer's imaging work into a single installable application identified by the package name com.lw.scientific.app.
Where It Fits In Photography
As a photography entry, the app is aimed at users who want mobile imaging capability on a phone or tablet rather than a desktop workflow. It sits alongside other camera and picture-related tools, giving Android owners a dedicated option from an established scientific instrument maker. The focus stays on producing and working with images on a portable device.
Device And Compatibility
The build requires Android 5.0 or newer, so a large span of older handsets can run it alongside newer devices. Nothing in this listing indicates any additional hardware thresholds beyond that system baseline, and the content rating field for the app is marked as unknown, so there is no age classification to report.
Install Footprint
The application package occupies 99.7 MB, a size worth checking against your available free storage before you begin the install. Keep some headroom beyond that figure for the unpacked files your device creates during setup, and consider whether you would rather store the app on internal memory or an inserted card.
Current Release
Version 6.0 is the latest listed build, dated 2026-10-01. Because this page carries no recent-changes notes, there is no changelog detail to summarise for this release, and no other version numbers are reported here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Android version does LW Scientific need?
The listed build requires Android 5.0 or newer. If your device already runs that baseline or anything above it, you satisfy the stated system requirement; devices running an older release will not meet it. No separate hardware or processor requirement is given in this listing beyond that Android version.
How much storage should I free up before installing?
The package is 99.7 MB. Allow some extra room on top of that figure, since devices unpack and write additional data during installation. If free space is tight, moving other apps or media off internal memory first will help the install complete without interruption.
What is the current version and when was it released?
The latest version listed for LW Scientific is 6.0, dated 2026-10-01. No other version numbers appear in this listing, and there is no recent-changes section, so no release notes or earlier build details are available here.
What kind of app is this and who makes it?
It is a photography app developed by LW Scientific, Inc., distributed under the package name com.lw.scientific.app. The listing gives no feature list or tag detail beyond the photography category, so claims about specific camera modes or editing functions cannot be confirmed from this page.
Does it have a content rating?
The content rating for this app is listed as unknown, meaning no age classification is provided in this listing. Users who rely on content ratings to decide whether an app suits a particular household member will not find that information stated here.
