About Gallery: Hide, Lock & Clean
Gallery: Hide, Lock & Clean is a photography app from CrazyCat Lab. that brings media management and privacy into a single place on your phone. It centers on three everyday jobs: keeping selected pictures out of sight, protecting what matters behind a lock, and clearing away what you no longer need.
Keeping media out of sight
The app is built around the idea that some photos and videos should not sit in an open grid where anyone can scroll through them. You can move private items into a protected area and gate access to it, so a borrowed phone or a curious passer-by does not automatically see everything you have stored. The approach treats the gallery not just as a viewer, but as a space you can control.
Tidying up storage
Alongside its privacy tools, the app handles the routine housekeeping that keeps a photo library usable. Over time a camera roll accumulates duplicates, screenshots and forgotten clips, and this app gives you a way to work through that backlog rather than scrolling endlessly. Clearing space also helps the device itself, since media libraries are one of the fastest-growing consumers of internal storage.
Compatibility and installation
The build requires Android 10.0+ or newer, so older handsets will not run it, while newer devices are supported. The installer occupies 75.2 MB, which is worth allowing for alongside the space your own photos take up. As with any gallery replacement, it is best installed before you begin reorganising, so the app can see the library you want to manage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to install this app?
The build requires Android 10.0+ or newer, so devices running an earlier system version cannot install it. Newer devices are supported. The download itself is 75.2 MB, so make sure you have at least that much free space in addition to the room your own photos and videos occupy. Once installed, the app operates as a gallery with privacy and cleanup tools.
Which package name does this app install under?
The package name is com.crazycatlab.dodo_gallery. This is the identifier used by the system to recognise the app, and it stays the same across updates, so you can use it to confirm you are installing the intended application from CrazyCat Lab. Knowing the package name is also useful when checking installed apps in your device settings or when reporting a problem to the developer.
What is the latest version and when was it released?
The latest version is 1.0.6, released on 2026-10-02. This is the current build of Gallery: Hide, Lock & Clean from CrazyCat Lab. If you already have an earlier build installed, updating brings you to this release. Always compare the version number shown on your device with 1.0.6 to confirm whether an update is still outstanding.
How much storage does the app take up?
The installer file is 75.2 MB. That figure covers the application package itself, not the space used by your own pictures, videos or any media the app organises. Because it functions as a gallery, it works with media already stored on the device, so leaving generous free storage available is advisable, particularly if you plan to use its cleanup functions.
What does the app actually do?
As the name suggests, it is a photography-oriented gallery centred on three tasks: hiding selected media, locking access to private content, and cleaning up unwanted files. It lets you keep certain photos and videos out of the normal view and protected behind a lock, while also giving you a way to remove clutter from your library and recover storage space.
